Lesson
Remember when you were a child and being told that lessons are usually learned the hard way? For example, when teachers tell students not to wait till the last minute to do your report or project and students wait the last minute anyways then end up stressing and regretting not listening in the first place. Well I have no clue why most human beings are programmed to have this kind of attitude. I say this because I fall into that category of those who learn lessons the hard way. The lesson that I learned the hard way would be "words are meaningless", whether the words are spoken by your family, best friend, significant other, or a stranger. Words can be manipulating and disappointing. Words can also give a person false hope. So, after nineteen years it just occurred to me that I shouldn't be so naive. Hopefully from this point on I'll be just a little bit more careful.

True true
"Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves, and of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys, they’d just walk around naked at all times."

I just want this week to be over. Anxiety is one of the worst emotions a human being can ever feel -_-

It's Personal
I have noticed that I haven't actually been "blogging" lately. Instead, I have been using lyrics or quotes to express my emotions. I do this because sometimes my own words can not adequately illustrate my thoughts or feelings. At the same time I do not want to blog about my whole life and give the liberty for readers to assume they actually "know" me. But I concluded that I am going to use this blog to give a little more insight to what defines me as a person. I won't write every detail on my daily life but I will attempt to share my personal thoughts.

New Year
2010! SO, I stumbled upon a website entitled polyvore.com and I'm going to try it out and post the sets I create on here. This sudden urge came from the realization that I've been working retail for some time now and I love visual merchandising so I figured out I would try and express it through blog as well.
